About The Glass Mystic

I am a multidisciplinary artist whose main area of focus for most of my career has been stained glass, and in recent years, acrylic painting. With background experience in both teaching and graphic design, and a passion for projects, I developed The Glass Mystic as a platform to showcase the different facets of my work.

As an artist, I work with a wide range of media - glass and metal, paint and water, graphite and ink, wood and resin, words and phrases, and yes, even food. Whether constructing a large stained glass window or detailing a tiny glass pendant, I am inspired by the power of art to transform personal spaces.​ My focus has included developing a process for weather-proofing art, as well as capturing the light and interesting perspectives of everyday surroundings. When painting, I prefer working on large canvases where I can study the actual brushstrokes of my work. I do have prints made to fit smaller spaces.

As an intuitive tarot reader, I have found that intuition and creativity come from the same source. For me, that source is defined by light. Channeling the light is what I try to do in all areas of my work. It's about being in the flow and understanding our own individual roles in creating and shaping our lives. Getting into that flow is the tricky part. Both the Tarot and my artistic endeavors have allowed me to practice this and to inspire others to find their way into the flow. Some would call that "alignment".​ Synchronicity, consciousness, emotion, memory, and the human soul are topics I work with and incorporate frequently.

My goal with The Glass Mystic is to inspire others to create intentionally, provide tools of transformation/grace/healing, grow as a creator (and as a human), and last but not least, to live fearlessly.
